Terms of Service

Welcome to Pharma Cabinet ("the App"). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not download, install, or use the App.

1. Accuracy of Information & OCR Scanner

The App provides a camera-based optical character recognition (OCR) scanning feature as a convenient shortcut to input text from medicine boxes. You acknowledge that:

• The scanner is a tool and may misread characters, labels, dosages, or numbers due to lighting, print size, or image quality.
• You are strictly responsible for verifying that the text, medication names, dosages, and instructions entered into the App are 100% correct and match your physician’s official prescriptions.
• The developer is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect data inputs, typos, or software inaccuracies.

2. Permitted Use & Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the safety and security of your physical device (using pin codes, lock screens, and biometrics).
• Configuring your device settings (such as allowing notifications) to ensure reminders work properly.
• Any exported files (e.g., PDF cabinet summaries, ZIP data backups) you share or save outside the App.

3. Cloud Syncing & Third-Party Accounts

The App provides an optional backup feature using Google Drive:

• By linking your Google account, you agree to Google's terms and privacy policies.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. The developer cannot recover, view, or manage files synced to your personal Google Drive account.

4. Intellectual Property

All software code, graphics, branding, interface designs, and documentation associated with Pharma Cabinet are the intellectual property of the developer, Camilo Diaz, and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal devices.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free, that medicine push notifications will fire without interruption under all operating system power management settings, or that the App will fulfill all your health logging needs.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer (Camilo Diaz) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, adverse health effects, missed medical dosages, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this web page with the modified "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
